Friends of the Texas RoomThe Friends of the Texas Room meets four times each year. The quarterly meetings are held on Monday evenings on the first floor of the Julia Ideson Building unless an alternative date and location are announced. The reception starts at 6:00 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7:00 p.m.

The Julia Ideson Building is located downtown at 500 McKinney Street. (See map below.) Free parking, validated at the meeting, is available in the underground parking garage under the Jones Library Building, which closes at 8:00 p.m. The underground parking is accessed from Lamar Avenue. Free parking is also available on the street after 6:00 p.m.
